SAVANNAH CEMENT LIMITED (UNDER ADMINISTRATION, IN RECEIVERSHIP)
CALL FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST AND SUBMISSION OF BIDS

The appointed Administrator of Savannah Cement Limited (Under Administration, In
Receivership) (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”); hereby extends the deadline
for submission of bids to 28th February 2025 for interested local and international
buyers to submit an Expression of Interest (“EOI”) and offer (“Bid”) for the purchase
of the business and assets of the Company .

DETAILS OF ASSETS AND SITE VISITS

Any bidders may obtain a detailed Information Memorandum from the office of the
Administrator on all working days from 31st January, 2025 up to 26th February, 2025.
The Company’s assets and properties to be sold may only be viewed by appointment
with the Administrator or one of his representatives.

DETAILS TO BE PROVIDED BY INTERESTED BIDDERS

Bidders shall submit an EOI and separately their Bid which have to include the
following:

1. General information on the bidding company including main business, country(ies)
   of establishment and operation and duration of business activities including
   number of staff, turnover, years in business (preferable 5 years or more);
2. The regional or international experience in cement manufacturing industry or
   similar sectors.
3. A signed statement by a duly authorized representative of the bidding company
   attesting that the company is in good financial standing is not bankrupt, is not
   having its affairs managed by a court, or has entered into an arrangement with its
   creditors, has not suspended its business, or entered into or currently engaged in
   similar or related situations in any jurisdiction;
4. Demonstration of financial capacity to undertake the transaction through Bank
   confirmation and provision of audited financial statements for the last three (3)
   years.
5. Contact information: full name of a contact person, and address of potential
   bidder, telephone number, e-mail address, website.
6. The Bid has to be accompanied by a refundable 10% deposit of the bid/offer
   amount or a bank guarantee of at least 10% of the bid amount.

SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST AND BIDS

These should be submitted separately and simultaneously in two sealed envelopes
clearly marked “Expression of Interest” and “Bid” respectively:

The interested bidders shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and
submission of their EOI and Bid including, without limitation, all costs and expenses
related to interested buyer’s involvement in:

1. Participation at any conference;
2. Site visit;
3. All other information gathering processes;
4. Scheduled and/or additional meetings; and
5. The preparation of responses to questions or requests for clarification from the
   Administrator in relation to the EOI and the bid process.

LAST DATE

The EOI and Bid should be submitted, duly completed and signed by the interested
buyers not later than 4:30 PM [(local Kenya time)] on Friday 28 February 2025 in
the office of the administrator, located at Kalamu House, Grevillea Grove, Westlands-
Nairobi-Kenya.
