The South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SACCI) welcomes and wishes to congratulate Minster Nxesi on the appointment of Mthunzi Mdwaba for another term as the chairman of Productivity SA.
As we have major challenges in driving our economy in the area of infrastructure, industry and innovation as central pillars, the role of Productivity SA is going to be crucial in enabling and building the profile of SA products locally and internationally,
Mr Mdwaba brings extensive experience and networks in this role as he has been part of the top leadership structures of the ILO and also the Vice President of the International organization of Employers (IOE) that represents more than 150 countries.
South Africa should take full advantage of the networks Mthunzi’s critical international networks provide.
As SACCI we are looking forward to working with Productivity SA, to find ideas on how to address the problems of economic growth, unemployment, poverty and inequality.
